Louisiana Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS)

General Information
TOPS is a scholarship program funded by the state of Louisiana. Students who have been Louisiana residents for at least two years and have graduated from a Louisiana high school are eligible to apply for TOPS. The maximum award at Tulane is the average Louisiana public college tuition and may include a stipend for students with higher grade point averages and/or ACT scores.

Applicants must have a minimum high school grade point average of 2.500, a minimum ACT score equivalent to the prior year's state ACT average, and have completed at least 16.5 core academic units in high school. Students with a 3.50 grade point average, an ACT score of 23 and who rank in the top 5% of their class will also receive an additional $400 stipend. Students with a 3.50 grade point average, an ACT score of 27 and who rank in the top 5% of their class will receive an additional $800 stipend.

Application Procedure
