Prospective Freshmen Financial Aid Steps

First-year applicants (excluding those applying to the School of Professional Advancement) should complete the steps below to be considered for all forms of financial aid by the priority deadlines:

Submit Supporting Tax Documents

Prospective 2026–2027 students applying through the CSS Profile are required to submit the following documents for consideration of a Tulane Need-Based Scholarship:

  • Custodial parent’s signed 2024 federal tax return, including all associated schedules
  • All 2024 W-2 forms
  • All 2024 federal business tax returns (if applicable)

Additional documents may be requested. Be sure to monitor your “To-Do” list in the Financial Aid section of your Gibson Secure Portal for updates or new requests.

 

Complete Additional Merit Scholarship Applications

Complete any additional merit scholarship applications through Tulane’s Office of Undergraduate Admission.
