Tulane requires a CSS Profile from each parent in cases of divorce or separation.
Generally, each year's CSS Profile is available online for sixteen months, from October 1st through January. For example, we expect the 2020-21 CSS Profile to be available from 10/01/19 until 01/31/21, and the 2021-22 CSS Profile to be available 10/01/20 until 01/31/22.
Please note that Tulane's deadline for CSS Profile completion is months before the academic year commences: February 15 for those who have not attended Tulane previously and April 15 for students currently enrolled at Tulane. Earlier deadlines apply for incoming freshmen applying for admission via the Early Decision (ED) or Early Action (EA) options (November 15 for ED and December 15 for EA). Those whose CSS Profile applications are completed after Tulane's deadline may be considered for the type of aid requiring Profile completion if the student is otherwise eligible and funds remain available: however, in any event, the CSS Profile application must be received prior to our aid processing deadline (which is four weeks before the end of the academic period for which aid is intended, or the student's last date of attendance, whichever comes first).
