Prospective Freshmen

For the 2025-26 academic year:

First-year applicants for admission (excluding applicants to our School of Professional Advancement) should complete the following steps to be fully considered for all forms of financial aid by the deadlines below:

  1. The CSS Profile by November 15, 2024 for Early Decision admission, December 15, 2024 for Early Action admission, January 15, 2025 for Early Decision II and February 15, 2025 for Regular Decision admission.
  2. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by December 5, 2024 for Early Decision admission, December 15, 2024 for Early Action, January 15, 2025 for Early Decision II, and February 15, 2025 for Regular Decision admission.  Non-U.S. citizens (i.e. international students) should NOT complete the FAFSA.
  3. All CSS Profile filers must send directly to Tulane University signed copies of parents' 2023 federal income tax returns, including all schedules and W-2 forms, as well as all 2023 federal BUSINESS TAX RETURNS.  There may be additional incremental requests as well, so please continue to monitor the "To-Do" list for the admitted applicant in the Financial Aid section of the Gibson secure portal.
  4. Any additional merit scholarship applications that may require a separate application.
